How to add Cloudflare to your domain

1 min read

If you want faster, more secure, and more reliable websites, connecting your domain to Cloudflare is one of the best steps you can take. Cloudflare provides a global content delivery network (CDN), DDoS protection, and smart caching. When you combine SNBD HOST with Cloudflare, you get the best of both worlds—premium hosting infrastructure and a world-class security and performance layer.

Think of SNBD HOST as your home for hosting—it gives your website storage, bandwidth, and speed. Now imagine Cloudflare as a global shield and highway—it spreads your content across servers worldwide and protects it from attacks.

  • SNBD HOST provides the foundation – your hosting, domains, and automation tools.

  • Cloudflare provides the edge protection and delivery – faster loading times, SSL, and caching worldwide.

  • Together they ensure reliability – even if one server is under heavy load, Cloudflare delivers cached content to visitors instantly.

  • Security + Speed – SNBD HOST keeps your hosting stable, while Cloudflare blocks DDoS, spam bots, and malicious traffic.

Step 1: Create a Cloudflare Account #

Go to cloudflare.com and sign up for a free account. Once logged in, click Add a Site.

Step 2: Add Your Domain #

Enter your domain (for example: yourdomain.com) and click Add Site. Cloudflare will ask you to choose a plan. The free plan is enough for most users, but you can upgrade for more advanced features.

Step 3: Scan and Import DNS Records #

Cloudflare will automatically scan your DNS records. Check carefully to make sure all records (A, MX, CNAME, TXT) match the ones from your SNBD HOST Client Area. If anything is missing, you can add it manually.

Step 4: Update Nameservers to Cloudflare #

Cloudflare will give you two new nameservers (for example: anellia.ns.cloudflare.com and kebs.ns.cloudflare.com).

Now go to your SNBD HOST portal:

  • Log in to the Client Area.

  • Open My Domains.

  • Select your domain and update the nameservers to the Cloudflare ones.

  • Save changes.

This tells the internet that your domain is now protected and routed through Cloudflare.

Step 5: Wait for Propagation #

Just like when you update nameservers normally, it can take 15 minutes to 48 hours for the change to take full effect. Once active, your site will run through Cloudflare’s global network.

Step 6: Enable Extra Features #

Inside your Cloudflare dashboard, you can:

  • Turn on Free SSL (HTTPS).

  • Enable Caching to speed up your website.

  • Use Firewall Rules to block unwanted traffic.

  • Optimize images and scripts for faster delivery.

Final Thoughts #

Using SNBD HOST for hosting and Cloudflare for global security and performance is like having the perfect team. SNBD HOST keeps your hosting reliable, while Cloudflare spreads your website worldwide and adds strong protection. Together, they make sure your site is always fast, secure, and online.
